On June 7, 2013, the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences awarded Vladimir Danilov with the Gold medal "European Quality".

Within the framework of the national program "Golden Fund of Russian Science" and in accordance with the decision of the Commission on Awards of the "European Scientific and Industrial Consortium" (www.euscience.info), the Gold medal "European Quality" was established. 

The Presidium of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences introduced Vladimir Danilov to this award, as a laureate of the International exhibitions and presentations of educational and methodological publications held annually for six years by the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation (Moscow) and in Sochi. Rewarding the Gold medal "European Quality" is a public recognition of the achievements of a specialist in the production of high-quality scientific products - fundamental and applied research, educational programs, educational and methodological publications. The main criteria are: high professionalism of the laureate, his systematic, integrated and organized style of work, aimed at continuous improvement of the quality of scientific and educational products.
