First Chechen.
If you are thinking of reading my revelations about brutal hand-to-hand combat with Chechen fighters, then you will be disappointed. They were not, and I doubt that anyone had them, but if they will tell you, I will not believe. But in close combat I had a chance to visit more than once.

In the Krasnodar center.
In the spring of 1996, the war ended for me. I was appointed chief of staff of the detachment located in the PPD, where I left. From the war, in addition to combat experience, I brought undermined health, shattered nerves and was psychologically unprepared to command subunits in peacetime.

An interesting article on the столетие.ru site about the collection system, dedicated to the Day of Special Forces (October 24). It was written, I believe, with heart and sincere concern for the combat capability of the Russian army and special forces in particular.

I spent my childhood in a military town in the international city of Baku. My father, a man of the post-war generation, was unable to make a career in the army. As a foreman of the long-term service, he began to realize his dreams of high positions and titles in his son.
